LITERACY

Ellie Raynor Speech Pathology provides comprehensive assessment and individualised therapy plans for children who are having difficulties learning to read and spell, or for children diagnosed with a Specific Learning Disorder with impairment in reading or writing (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia). Having worked in the school system for a number of years, literacy is a special interest of mine. I am a trained Sounds-Write practitioner and also utilise resources from a number of structured synthetic phonics programmes, including: Read3, Phonic Books, and Little Learners Love Literacy.

LANGUAGE
Ellie Raynor Speech Pathology assesses and provides therapy for preschool and school aged children with language delays or Developmental Language Disorder. Difficulties with language can include: limited words, short sentences for your child's age, delayed spoken grammar skills, jumbled words in sentences, or trouble understanding and answering questions and following instructions. Children who have difficulties with reading comprehension may have underlying spoken language difficulties. Language skills are essential for effective communication in everyday situations and classroom participation and learning.
